Dominica now has an opposition leader for the first time since June 2O24.
Jesmar Paul Victor, the Parliamentary Representative for Saulisbury, was sworn in as opposition leader at the office of the President this morning.
The post of opposition leader remained vacant since June 2O24 after Mrs Victor and the other elected member of the opposition, Marigot MP Anthony Charles, could not agree on a way forward.
