Trinidad and Tobago’s soca sensation, Kes the Band, has released his latest single, “Rum And Coca Cola,” which he describes as a homage to classic calypso music.

The release comes as Kes is set to headline the Unity Jazz Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center on January 8 and 9, 2026.

DBS Radio spoke with Kes in an exclusive interview on Friday morning, where he shared insights into the inspiration behind the track and his excitement for the upcoming performances.
