Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says he is pleased with the ongoing progress of the Dominica Geothermal Project, describing the latest developments as “satisfactory” and on track to meet the targeted deadlines.

The Prime Minister led a site visit to the power plant in the Roseau Valley on Tuesday, where he received updates from project officials on the installation of key components and the remaining phases of construction.

According to Prime Minister Skerrit, work is proceeding according to schedule.

Meantime, Energy Minister, Dr. Vince Henderson, also expressed satisfaction with the progress of works on the power plant from the Ormat Team.
