Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit congratulates Dr. Godwin Friday and commends Dr. Ralph Gonsalves for his years of service as the leader of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says the government is looking forward to working with the newly elected Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Godwin Friday.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines New Democratic Party (NDP) achieved a significant victory in the 2025 national elections, securing 14 seats to 1 by the Unity Labour Party of Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

Speaking on DBS News this morning, Mr. Skerrit congratulated Dr. Friday, the party leader, and also commended Dr. Ralph Gonsalves for his decades of leadership as Prime Minister of the country.
