Bail is now open for Double Murder Accused Johnathan Lehrer.
However, the bail conditions include a hefty amount of one million dollars, and the accused must revoke his U.S. citizenship.
Lehrer was charged in December for the murders of eco-resort owner Daniel Langlois and Dominic Marchand in the Gallion area.
This morning, High Court Judge Colin Williams reviewed the bail application and made his ruling.
Lead counsel for the state, King’s Counsel Thomas Astaphan, along with Director of Public Prosecutions Sherma Dalrymple, addressed the media regarding the outcome of this morning’s hearing.
