Dominica’s Acting Police Chief wants the public to be better acquainted with the country’s Public Order Act

Acting Police Chief Davidson Valerie says the public needs to be acquainted with Dominica’s Public Order Act.
He told the Ministry of National Security radio program that while a march, demonstration or procession is not prohibited, organizers need police permission for several reasons.
Valerie says it is important that the public is not affected by the actions taken.
