The Ministry of Health is investigating the possible cases of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease and Impetigo in Dominica.

This follows reports of a recent increase in a skin condition observed in children.

The Ministry is advising that it is actively investigating the suspected cases, primarily at the St Martin Primary School.

Acting Director of Primary Health Care Services Dr. Francine Jeffrey-Louis issued this statement on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
