Investigations ongoing into the death of a St Joseph man

The Major Crime Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force has commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult of St Joseph.

Obed Qball Nicholas was found in an unconscious state at his home in the early evening of last night.

The body which was examined and medically declared dead, appeared to have been beaten.

Two individuals were initially assisting the police in the investigation of the matter.

One was released and the other was arrested for further investigation into the matter and is in police custody.

Investigations are actively ongoing into the incident of the death.
