President of Dominica Her Excellency Sylvanie Burton has issued a new call for the International Community to assist Small Island Developing States in their fight against climate change.
Her call came at the 79th United Nations General Assembly debate in New York.

The Dominican president told the UN general assembly that the international community has made pledges for climate change action but the resources have not materialized.

Her Excellency also called for an end to action taken against Venezuela and Cuba.
