Advances made in creating an all-inclusive environment for students with special education needs

Minister for Education Octavia Alfred said the Ministry has made strides in creating an all-inclusive environment for students with special education needs.
The Minister’s remarks came at the official handing over of assistive devices to students under the OECS PEARL Project.
Alfred added that the training of 72 teachers to facilitate students with Special Needs Education is ongoing.

Meantime, Coordinator for Special Education Needs Nutrice Francis said the devices have been specially tailored to meet the needs of students with special education needs.
